Last minute trip to Disneyland....

He is blue and I was red. But all that mattered was the accuracy which you can plainly see that I won in that category! We got to Disneyland on Thursday night at 6pm and was able to ride a good amount of rides. Best time to go!
Chuck's game face while on the ride Toy Story at California Adventure. The picture above are our scores. He was getting mad because I was beating him up until the end.

Cadillac Ranch, Texas.

This sign is at the gate that you walk through. It says, "State of Texas property. Graffiti, painting of anything on this side of fence is illegal!"

Soydle 7/31/10!! Except for the date was actually 8/1/10. But no one would ever know.

Im pointing at my graffiti. I found a red spray paint can and sprayed a little spot on the tire and wrote something which is in the picture above.

These are 10 cadillacs of different years, all aligned the same way and same depth, nose first, at a ranch they call Cadillac Ranch. It is just off the highway 40 and the owner of the ranch just one day in 1974 decided to dig holes and put cars inside, and let people graffiti on them. Dodger dog couldnt wait to put his paws on the cars.

John Mayer Concert!

By far, he was the BEST concert I have ever been too. I usually don't think people sound good live, but John Mayer was better than his albums. He took one 10 minute break during the 2 hour show. He switched guitars for every song and there was never a dull moment. This was Chuck's birthday present from me this year.

The view from our seats. We had box seats, so they were comfortable and we didn't have to sit next to smelly people.
This is Michael Chiklis from the HBO show "The Shield". There were 3 actors here at this concert. For awhile I was more intune to them than I was with the show.
It just so happened that I was fast enough to take a picture of him playing the guitar.

And so you know I did not have to zoom in for this shot. This is just how good our seats were.

Oklahoma City bombing.

This was the old journal and records building, but is now used as the museum. It stood right next door to the building that was bombed.

The times on the walls represent the times the bombs went off. The one below is that at 9:01 everything was calm and quiet. The one to the left is that at 9:03 everything was chaotic. It is said that Timothy Mcvay was supposed to be there at 9:00, but the button to the bomb wasnt working. So he was 3 minutes late.

Big chairs are for the adults and little chairs are for the kids who died.

These are placques of people who survived.
This is the only part of the building left standing from the bombing.

This was a memoriam placque at the church across the street from the bombing.

Nashville baseball.

Nashville.

This was a bar across the street from the Opry. I thought this name was funny.
Since the Grand Ole Opry had been flooded, it was still closed due to cleaning up. So this was as close as I got to it.

The famous Cadillac Ranch.

Downtown Nashville. They call it Nash-Vegas. The above pictures are of the town and Bailey's is a bar and grill we ate at. Music Hall of Fame is here and a lot of the bars are where a lot of the country singers got their start.
This is the view from Chris's apartment. Nashville is way cool, but during summer, it is not. It is 100 degrees F; and 100 degrees humidity. Not fun.
Chuck's last name is Franklin, and we happened to go to this historic city called Franklin, TN. It was one of the battle sites during the civil war.
Chris swears by this breakfast place. It was good. Pancake Pantry.

Nashville Roadtrip!

Entering the first state of our road trip. Above this pic is the Mississippi River. Can't say that I have ever passed over this river before.
We missed the actual sign going East so I took this picture that was across the freeway going West, while standing next to the Texas sign.

I sooped up this picture to make it look cooler. Luckily we drove through the tip of Texas and not the middle of it. The picture above was the only sign I was able to get out and stand by.
New Mexico is, believe it or not, a pretty state.
This sign was at a rest stop at the border of New Mexico and Arizona. It explains itself with the trail behind it.

And did I bring my camera!! The last state I would be visiting.
